HIGHLIGHTS
Hauppauge 3, West Babylon 1: Ian Rivera struck out nine, walked two and allowed only three hits in a complete game to lead No. 6 Hauppauge over No. 3 West Babylon in the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. He also had an RBI sac fly in the seventh inning. Kyle Magill had an RBI single in the fifth inning and Roman Dixon had one in the sixth. Dixon went 3-for-3. Magill and Tucker Brown each had two hits. Hauppauge (12-8) advances in the winners bracket and will visit No. 2 East Islip at 4 p.m. Thursday. West Babylon (14-7) will host No. 7 Rocky Point in an elimination game at 4 p.m. Thursday.
